Private Suites
Quiet, comfortable rooms for a restful night’s sleep.
Pet Care Plus Resort & Spa has cared for Chicago’s dogs and cats through every stage of their lives — from a puppy’s first groom to a senior’s most comfortable stay — from one West Loop facility, under the same ownership, for more than 25 years. We’re not a franchise. We’re your neighbors, and we’ll show you everything.
Chicago’s longest-running, same-ownership pet care — since 1998.

Most pet care in Chicago now reads the same on paper — everyone says wellness, everyone says enrichment. The real difference is who is actually behind the care, and whether they will show you.
We’re not part of a national chain or a private-equity rollup. Pet Care Plus is owned and run by the same family that opened it all those years ago, in the same West Loop neighborhood, to the same standard. When you call, we treat you like a member of our family.
Tour during business hours, watch your pet on live webcams during their stay, and see how the place actually works before your first reservation is ever confirmed.
Boarding, daycare, grooming, and cat care stay connected under one experienced team in Chicago’s West Loop.
Overnight stays in a purpose-built facility, staffed 24/7, 365 days a year. Because exceptional care shouldn’t end at bedtime.

We’re not part of a national chain or a private-equity rollup. Pet Care Plus is owned and run by the same family that opened it all those years ago, in the same West Loop neighborhood, to the same standard. That accountability isn’t a feature we added — it’s the reason we exist.
A puppy needs structure and gentle first experiences. A senior needs quiet, softer handling, and a watchful eye. Most facilities are built for one kind of dog — young and high-energy. We’re built to care for your pet through their whole life.
Designed from an empty shell with one question behind every decision: what does this do for the animals in our care? Five independent air-handling systems, a 15,000-gallon heated saltwater pool, and private suites built for real rest. You can’t retrofit that into a repurposed building.
Tour any time during business hours — no appointment needed. Watch your dog on live webcams during their stay. We believe transparency is the baseline of trust, not a premium add-on.

Every service we offer is designed around one question: what does this dog or cat need right now to truly thrive? That is whole-lifecycle wellness, and it shapes how we board, groom, socialize, and care for pets every day.
Confidence-building, socialization, and early routines that help new dogs learn how to feel safe in structured care.
High-energy years need healthy outlets, clear boundaries, and the right mix of play, rest, and consistency.
The years where dependable routine matters most. Great care keeps pets thriving, not just occupied.
Softer handling, closer attention, and a calmer pace for older dogs and cats who still deserve thoughtful care.
“It truly is his home away from home. The staff are amazing and always make us feel welcome.”
“The team keeps the place immaculate and ensures all the dogs are safe and happy. Grooming and daycare together make life a lot easier.”
“The groomers take extra time with our puppy-mill rescue. He always looks fantastic and comes home much more relaxed.”

Sustainability
We’re proud of the small things and working hard on the bigger ones — from how we clean and run the building to the everyday choices we make. It’s something we care about deeply, and something we’re always pushing to do better.

Early drop-offs and late pick-ups incur a $7 fee per dog.

Whether you just brought home a puppy or you’re caring for a senior companion, we know how to care for this stage — because we’ve cared for every stage, since 1998.
Tell the team what kind of care you need, share your timing, and let us guide the right next step for boarding, daycare, grooming, or feline care.
Returning clients can keep using the existing booking portal. New families start here so the team can review fit, records, and timing before the first stay.
